Both, I have a few near and dear but I know alot of ppl but wouldn't call them close friends

A few close friends, and a lot of acquaintances.
I know a lot of people and a lot of people know me. But I would much rather have a meaningful (even one person) that I can count on, that I know them well and can be a good friend in return
I have mostly acquaintances with a few close friends.
I have many acquaintances and a few close friends- however Matt is the only one who knows everything about me and loves me despite my faults. That makes him the best friend I could ever ask for
