My parents gave me my dad's police/railroad scanner when, after every single present under the Christmas tree had been ooened, they realized that they had completely forgotten to give me anything at all. So they just handed me the scanner- which my mom had just given my dad, and which I had no desire for at all. I don't kniw very many high freshmen girls who want scanners.
