I can't recall a gift that was given to me with ill thoughts. I like to think that there's a good thought behind every gift.
I've never been gifted anything naughtier than sexy Christmas or birthday cards lol

I am a make up artist...and received a make up palette that you get at the dollar store...those ones meant for teen girls to play make up with. I did not know how to react to that.

Joint helicopter Christmas gift from dad.... Better than nothing at all like this year! Lol. Take the good with the bad I guess!

I've never received an innapropriare gift
No inappropriate gifts so far.
I'm a professionally-trained baker and I love making everything from scratch, so when one of my girl friends gave me two tins of cupcake mix I didn't know how to react (besides thanking her politely, of course). Fortunately, the mixes came with two mini spatulas that I've put to good use many times, so the gift wasn't completely inappropriate :D
OH. How could I forget this one...two friends of his gave me a box of half-eaten shortbread cookies. That actually upset me a little, but since they also gave me two very thoughtful gifts with it (and since they're more his friends than mine), I kept my opinion of the obvious re-gifting to myself.
