I think a successful loving relationship is one built on mutual friendship, trust and respect, where each person has an equal voice in how the relationship grows and strengthens over time. If you can make each other laugh ALL THE TIME - bonus points!
One in which both people are happy emotionally physically mentally spiritually

Overall happy people. At the very least happy with eachother. They being out the best in eachother.. And when bad things happen, you know if its true love because if it is, It'll hurt.. Bad.
