Each year contains its own joy, a word I prefer over happiness.

Our first year of marriage I ran from the parking lot to our apartment every day because I was so excited to see my wife. That was pure joy.

But even during hard years, some of which have been devastatingly hard, we learned to rely more deeply on each other and trust each other. There is a kind of happiness in that too.

2000 to 2003. We had just moved in together and started a family. Life was good. I remember being really happy.
97- 2001, we started out long distance to see if this would change how we feel about one another. We realized that our love was struggling and needed repair fast. So I moved to be with my love BUGG.
