I think we create our own destiny
I strongly believe in fate. I believe that's what brought me & my wife together.
I do. I believe our story didn't start when I first emailed you online.
We met because in 2009, a client I was waitressing for left his contest ticket on a table. That ticket made me go to Vancouver for a weekend. Going to Vancouver for a weekend made me wanna move there one day. Moving there a year later made me wanna meet someone. Wanting to meet someone made me try online dating. Trying online dating made me email you.
And the rest is history...

I believe in both. However, I wouldn't call it fate. I believe that God brought my girlfriend and I together, but I also believe that we have free will and are given a choice. I could have not taken the steps I did to pursue her. I could have continued to be passive and timid, but I knew that she was the one. I'm sure glad I didn't let this opportunity pass me by because she's the best thing that's happened to me.
I believe in the statement "life can only be understood backwards."
I've said it before that I can understand why people believe in a god. There are times I look at you and think you might be a gift. Likewise, I have a difficult time imagining my life working out in a way where I wouldn't love you. It's an illusion, but a powerful one.

Kinda both. Sometimes I feel like everything has already happened and linear time is a limitation of how humans experience life. But I also believe that we make meaning in life with the choices we make. The choices are informed by all of our past experiences which blend together to make us the people who are making those choices in the present. It's all interrelated.

Both, things happen the way they do and can be changed but it accumulates to being where I am now.

I believe in Destiny, at d same time cooperating with it...
A little if both. I think were all destined for something, but we have to find it.
I do believe we make our own destiny, but sometimes things seem so coincidental
I believe in fate
I absolutely believe in fate, but I also believe we can control our own destiny too. The thing is, I don't find them always correlated. Fate is what allowed the series of events to occur in my life to put me in the circumstances I'm in. It is my choices after the fact that allow me to control my destiny.
I think sometimes things are based on Fate
Everyone is dealt an opening hand that draws from the same deck of cards. Some people are dealt amazing hands and play well and do well. Some are dealt amazing hands and play terribly and lose everything. Some are dealt terrible hands and overcome it with wit, logic and luck. Others are dealt awful hands and barely get by or lose quickly. I think it's important for everyone to live with kindness and respect... None of us really knows what our neighbors were dealt.
