Alone, at least I would have friends. A lifetime of freedom and friends is better than a lifetime of being miserable and wondering "what if".

I would rather be alone. I don't want to have resentment towards another person because I was too afraid to break it off or be alone. The guilt and regret you feel will always shine through sooner or later.
True love is finding beauty in what others see as ordinary. Behaviors can change over time, don't settle for the important points like core beliefs, good morals and a good heart.
