Ask for it or tell him I need it.

Just tell them!

I try to explain to him how I am feeling and hopefully he will catch the hint that I might need encouragement

She seems to be able to sense it. I haven't had to ask. She just knows.

I just let him know how I'm feeling and he instantly knows what I need to hear. :)

honestly i don't know...most times it seems to lead to a disagreement. i will tell him what i need from him when I'm not feeling 100% and sometimes he comes off as being defensive and other times i honestly feel if i have to constantly remind you then, its too late...he seems nicer and more in tune to me honestly when I'm doing my own thing.

I am terrible at that, I am really trying to get better.

I hope I am able to put it bluntly.

She usually can tell when I need it but I normally just talk to her openly.

Most of the time I just go to him and he
Hugs me and other times it just seems
That The Lord just let him know and he texts me

I'm usually quiet and mopey.... I don't usually ask for any encouragement

Honestly, all I know how to do is straight up ask for it. I haven't always gotten it, and it is important, so I decided to just ask for what I need and expect.
Ask and you shall receive babes!

Ask for it

I used to think he should just know but I now understand I have to ask and communicate.
I agree. Just ask

Just tell them. I also feel that you shouldn't have to tell them. If they know you then they should know when to encourage you.
