Yes. Even though the truth hurts sometimes, it's better to know sooner than later. It's one thing to hurt the person with the truth right away. It's another to keep the truth from someone and they find out the hard way. Then you have the betrayal of keeping a secret and the truth itself

For the most part sometimes being honest is really really hard but still necessary
