I guess that they could potentially, unless the relationship is other strong in other aspects..!
I don't have much of a problem with it I enjoy paying, plus when someone is worth it you arnt really "paying" anything. Its an investment into their happiness and that is worth it.
I'd say more so if the woman is earning more, but really if you a united partnership it should be something that you can deal with.
I don't necessarily think that differences in income are a problem for us. I do think it's difficult for her, being someone that has always worked, to all of a sudden stop working and put all her trust into me and our relationship. I can see why it's scary for her. What if things don't work out? She left her career for the advancement of mine. I feel somewhat selfish for being the reason she had to leave her job so I could advance.

I'm sure it does. It's a power thing. But not for me. It's a very narrow-minded and selfish approach. Never would it be a problem for me.
