I miss all the holidays at my parents house----every Thanksgiving/Christmas---I wish I could get some of the times back.
Christmas, definitely. How we celebrate changes every year, depending on if we are doing stuff with our other family members or not. But we always open one present on Christmas Eve and the rest the next morning, with a nice dinner. It's nice when the whole family gets together though.
happy new year
We're pretty casual. My favorite is usually Thanksgiving, and we just eat, drink and talk.
i dont have a favorite holiday.
Fav holiday is Christmas. My family used to do a free for all present opening, followed by a light breakfast and a yummy ham or turkey for a midday day dinner feast. I can't wait to start new traditions with my fiance this year!
We celebrate all holiday's as a family. We get together and catchup on whats been going on in our lives.
Christmas: Get up at 6/7am, wait for parents to get up. My dad always video tapes us opening presents. Then we have a big breakfast with eggs, toast, bacon, and pancakes. Then we shower, etc. and enjoy our gifts. At about 3pm my Oma/Opa come over and we have a big turkey dinner. On boxing day my fam and aunts fam get together with all our left overs and have another big meal! Both Nights we have desert too! Note: I'm only 18.
Note, you're perfect

Together... more family the better
We like Christmas. My family all gets together and has Christmas brunch with blueberry muffins and we open presents.
I miss the big family celebrations when I was married. I hosted typically and it was tons of fun to fill the house with family and love. Now, it is much smaller and I am not as close to my family so I tend to spend time with my kids or my s/o if I have one and friends... not my first choice.
shopping? ^_^
Christmas is HUGE in my house! My family starts decorating for it on Thanksgiving, and my mom puts little elves all over the house. They just kinda hang out in different locations - on the clock, in the cupboard, etc. There is also non-stop holiday music playing from November until to January. I hope to celebrate Christmas more like my family does someday too, when I have more time.
Aww...you're the best ever! I can't wait for our first Christmas as husband and wife either!
Last year we celebrated christmas together, was his first christmas ever, even tho neither of us is religious at all. We exchanged gifts and sat a little christmas tree together, was very emotive time..
