By phone because it's more personal than email but can't lead so easily to an argument as in person.

Passive aggressive to the max with an email.

I don't like confrontation...so I'd say wimp out and do it in a letter or e-mail.

If it is someone that I don't know that well (like someone I am not related to or not dating), then via email. I am not a big fan of confrontation for people I don't know too well. If I know them well, then I prefer in person, because I feel more comfortable around them.

in person if I am close to the person
via email other wise

When I confront someone, I would rather do it in person. I would probably have to write everything down that I want to say so I wouldn't sound like an idiot, but I want to know the message I'm sending is getting through.

Phone or in-person is the best. Not a big fan of 'writing' bad stuff.

MUST I confront them? I don't like confrontation in any form. But the coward in me prefers e-mail or letter when it MUST be done.

e-mail then in person

person

write it down first then in person

E-mail - I can articulate better and think about whether I really mean something, come up with examples, etc.

In person.
