Nothing! They suspected a lot more than I actually did!
my friend Ryan and I wanted to be a 2-man band and practiced playing badly in a storage room of his house, recording on a crappy cassette recorder. sounded terrible, and we knew it, but it was a blast.
No comment. No comment at all.
How much I wanted to run away from my life, to the point I get in my car and leave, with no place to go, only to psych my self out of it a few hours later and turn around and go home.
Smoke pot (still do, lol!)
How much I broke curfew in college!
I want to say "lots," but I think I've lost the capacity of surprising my parents...
Binge drinking
One of our favorite pastimes in junior high was playing strip poker with the neighborhood kids.
Wow, what wouldn't they be surprised about? The alcohol use, for starters...
Probably how fast I used to drive. I'd go home during my 70-minute "free periods" in high school. It should have taken 10 minutes to get there, but I would try to cut that down to 7 or 8, which involved going about 50 mph on a 30 mph residential road. Now I don't know why I'd go home--I would have had more free time if I stayed at school.
They would be surprised how much soft porn I watch. I was addicted to Real Sex on HBO and any other soft core porn I could find at night on skinomax.
Effectively skipped a semester of college. I was enrolled and got OK grades that quarter but spent most of my time in the bookstore or the library. I still believe the books I read then were a better use of my time. :-)
Tee hee hee!
Copious amounts of psychedelics. Well my mother would be surprised anyway...
