My folks would always encourage me and were supportive. Dad's not a big hugger cuz you know we're men. but that's normal hahah he'd give me pats on the back and what not.

Some of them. My mom forced my dad's side of the family to give us hugs when we come and go, and now its expected by everyone.

Wow, my family was both! Lots of hugs and kisses. Both of my parents were wonderful about giving emotional affectionate, but mother was simply outstanding.
