I trust people, however, I always have a healthy level of skepticism when it comes to business dealings as everyone has their own interests in mind

It depends on the setting. At work I am always on guard to make sure people don't have an agenda that may hurt the company. On a personal level I give people the benefit of the doubt that they are as they seem.

I used to. Not as much these days I'm afraid to say. I've been taken advantage of many times because of of it. I always trusted people because I would never hurt them. It seems I'm the odd one out here.
