I would say the only thing that scares me about getting older is eventually losing my parents. X


I am not afraid of dying per se, I mean of life ending and it being over. I am afraid of the physical pain involved in that moment of death, though.


Increasing social disconnect from my peers as I seem to mature and they seem to stay stagnant.

I'm very much looking forward to the process of becoming old.

The aches and pains, and I'm feeling them right now.

Losing my sex drive and good looks


That I won't have kids. That I won't be successful, and will be dirt poor forever. That I'll divorce just like everybody else I've ever known who got married. And finally, that I won't have a peaceful death.
The whole divorce thing really scares me too. I actually heard on the news not too long ago that there is a such thing as divorce insurance!
