I would say the only thing that scares me about getting older is eventually losing my parents. X
I am not afraid of dying per se, I mean of life ending and it being over. I am afraid of the physical pain involved in that moment of death, though.
Increasing social disconnect from my peers as I seem to mature and they seem to stay stagnant.
that iam not going to be as successful when Iam older than I thought i would be
I'm very much looking forward to the process of becoming old.

Losing my sex drive and good looks
That I won't have kids. That I won't be successful, and will be dirt poor forever. That I'll divorce just like everybody else I've ever known who got married. And finally, that I won't have a peaceful death.
The whole divorce thing really scares me too. I actually heard on the news not too long ago that there is a such thing as divorce insurance!

health issues, managing kids after high-school, loans, hairloss, wrinkles and taken for granted by hubby;)
There are more things taken away from you than you get.
