Romance shows you care about the other person and will put their needs before your own if needed. If romance is shown daily the partner will not question if they are loved or appreciated.

I think it's extremely important. I think that you can keep it going by making sure that you always make a point to have one on one time with each other everyday. Listen to each other and look into each others eyes. We live such busy lives that we forget the importance of looking at each other when we talk vs multi tasking. 10 minutes at least everyday of quality time. ;) I'm always willing to give more though.
