Y'know, at least this question includes women and doesn't quite so much come off as more of that "nice guy" bullshit. My answer is a firm no. If you're a "nice guy/girl" and consistently have no luck, maybe there's something else wrong, like your attitude.

Because people want what they can't have. Nice guys/gals aren't highly desirable. One would prefer someone who's already spoken for or a player who's been with everybody
Some have learned their lesson and are more than grateful for what they have and don't wanna have anything else.

Put her in her place. Don't be scared to be the man in the relationship

nI've guys finish last because they let there wan finish first

Yea

Nice guys finish last because they let their girlfriends finish first.

Yes but true!!

Complete nice guys do. They are often manipulable and weak. Few guys though manage to have a stong personality while remaining sweet and nice, which enables them to stand up for themselves, which translates into cofidence and man/sexiness,

No

I don't really get the whole appeal of the "nice folks finish last" slogan. Is finishing last a good thing because what, you put other people before yourself? That's cool to a point, but if someone doesn't go for their own goals and desires in life, if they don't have the self respect enough to do even that, why would someone else find that appealing? Being nice isn't some unheard of virtue, it's an expectation for basic human behavior.

For most of them I would say yes. However, some get lucky. Like me!
