Haven't met them yet. I can at least bring up some common ground for conversation in sports with her dad. I have a second favorite player in Robinson Cano that plays for her dad's favorite baseball team. As for her mom, I don't know, I should just compliment her & hope she likes me!

I love them dearly. I've gotten a bit more comfortable with them over the past (almost) 10 years. For a while I felt so close with your mom that I was referring to her as my next best friend after you, but that changed due to some situations. However, I have never really felt at "home" with them. I feel pretty uptight and scared about being improper around them. They're so picky about so many things that I feel I can't just be comfortable around them like I can with my family. The more I'm around them the more I feel at home. I had a crash course in getting to know them when we went on a trip shortly after meeting them. They have all done a wonderful job making me feel comfortable.
