I feel extremely lucky to have crossed paths with her. The funny thing is that we were closer to each other than we thought before we met. The people we knew, school we went to, even where we lived. Being with her tho... Luck had nothing to do with it. We flipped our lives upside down just to be with each other. The battles we fought to ultimately be together were long and hard. Luck happens when something falls in your lap unexpectedly.
I feel like every day we're together is like getting blackjack on repeat.
Very lucky.
I'm ridiculously lucky to have met her, much less have her in my life, and I tell her so regularly.

Is be lying if I said very lucky. Our relationship may not be the best anymore but nothing will never beat the feeling I had for him in the beginning. From him being my childhood crush to my first alone time with him and then to him being the father of my baby. I can say I'm lucky to have him as the father of my child,he's a great dad.

Very lucky, we both know we will fight for each other and although we have our ups and downs (not many downs), we resolve our probs quick. She's there for me when I need her (and when I don't). lol. But most of all her love for me is inseparable. Our hearts, connected for life.
Everyday it feels like I won the lottery.

I'm not a big fan of commitment. I'm not afraid of it, I just don't commit to anything easily, mostly because I feel you never know what can happen in life.
But with you everything keeps happening super easily. I don't have to think about it. It just feels right, it just makes sense. So it doesn't scare me. It just makes me happy.

Hmmm.. Your comment is interesting because that's completely how I saw you when we first started dating - you made it clear that you didn't want to settle down or start a family or get married... Or even commit to your job. Lol
It's kind of ironic because I would have expected you to be very commitment oriented based on your previous relationship lasting six years, but maybe it's because of that commitment that you're more hesitant to commit now?
I think it's good to be safe and approach things slowly and commit when you're ready - if it happens then that's great, if not then life moves on. I'm glad that it did happen for you, and for us. :)
