Honestly.. I don't see it like that. I'm lucky to have him because he is a good guy and i love him dearly BUT I don't think someones self worth should be determined by your partner. If you helped encourage them ,great. Relationships are 2 way streets that sometimes needs gravel, paving,or tar and it's lop sided if not on both sides. Luck sounds like desperation because we are not ever "stuck" with someone.
