Yes! Any sad movie where people die.

No

The Notebook.

The Hours. Movie based on Michael Cunningham's book. I was in a bizarre mood and that movie is all about human loneliness and hit a strange cord. I sat on the floor and couldn't stop balling for like half an hour :/
Aww, I want to see this!! I almost cry every time I watch The Fountain, but the movie that made me openly weep was Ink. It was totally unexpected, too. I was watching it very very late at night, and didn't expect to see such an awesome movie.

It isnt that good of a movie actually. Just that the mental state I was in resonated with it. It was when I worked for my hedge fund and was really dissatisfied with my job and my best friends from college and childhood didn't live in NYC so I felt a little alone / lacking of confidants

Oh, it's hard to believe you were ever alone, given how social you are, but there is a difference between friends and acquaintances, so I can understand.

Yeah… something utterly stupid. Don't remember.

Yes. Anything from the '80s rom-coms like Say Anything to serious stuff like Schlinder's List. I try my best to get compeletely involved in anything that I do, and I can really get into a good movie and be overwhelmed by the feelings it makes me have.

Madeas big happy family
