We don't talk like we used to, but he and I pick up right where we left off like we had talked just yesterday.

We talk just like we used too. Good buds
We talk just not as much as we used to. She still stays the night. Lol.
Me and my first friend still talk on fb. We live to far to visit but have known each other since I was born. My other best friend is still talk to on a daily basis. And the other, I married.
We still keep in touch, a little harder because of the distance and time difference. But we do still keep in touch and make an effort to hang out when even I'm home visiting.
Great. Even if we speak everyday or don't speak for weeks, it just feels like it's the same!
It's always been good and lately we've been more open with each other than we have been in the last 23 years. We're not big idle talkers or sharers though.

We have one or two conversations a year.
We were best friends for a very long time but once we hit high school we chose different paths. We still live two houses away from each other, since 13 years ago, and we still see each other at school, our senior year, share a smile and a friendly hello, but I don't think we could be close again until we were both grown women further in the future. But I love her parents and her brother, and their sweet dog.
We have not spoke in a while
