Tough question, there are a lot of issues with adopting that you need to watch out for.

I think I'm okay with not having kids if it's absolutely not possible to have my own.
I wouldn't mind if there are children in need of a home that I can provide.

That's risky, I read an article recently about this woman who adopted kids from Russia that needed a home but they just couldn't cope. They had already led an abusive life that no matter how hard the woman tried she could no repair the damage. They were unruly and simply were unable to live a reasonable life. In the end both of them (the kids) left the house when they were old enough and now the woman says that if she had the option she wouldn't have done it again.

I wouldn't just dive in without the right research and without knowing what I'm up against. Of course it's a challenge, that's entirely the point. And it all depends on if I feel like it's the right decision at that time in my life. Not all cases are like that, and kids are never fucked up for good. That's the beauty about being a kid.

But that was her point though, the kids were indeed fucked up for good and nothing she did could fix that. Maybe not all kids. Who knows.

Definitely not all kids. Obviously those kids needed professional mental help. Not all kids would be like that.. that's a specific story. Some kids are built with the mental strength too. some kids were abandoned. some kids orphaned. and the only thing that would make those kids fucked up is that they have no one.

I would just write off the option just cause of that. Obviously there's downsides but there's rewards too. You just make the best of whatever shit is laid in front of you.

I wouldn't just write off.. i mean
