I think bland/boring/dull and not openly getting out of comfort zone.
omgsh! in so many ways too hard to describe, you just have to see them together. He is goofy life his dad, and he can cook like his mom.
She meant her parents are like that my mother is the same my father is just mean
She is different to her mum in many ways, but the main similarity between the two of them is that they're both stubborn about their points of view :p
