Anything by Patricia Cornwell in the Scarpetta Series. I LOVE medical, criminal drama. Her books are like CSI meets the Mentalist, meets criminal minds. Incredible writing, fantastic Characters that I often forget are fiction because they are so real, and astounding plots. My first book I read by her was "From Potter's Field" when I was in grade 9 and I was glued to that book and literally couldn't put it down. I remember taking it with me to the supper table and reading it while eating lol
