Will I ever be able to be half the man my father is?
Why compare yourself to your father? Just be the best you can be, set goals and work hard.

Is this relationship going to work? Is it going to be worth all that I'm going through? Is he THE ONE? if there is such a thing

why dont i have more money so i can get to philly....lol

I am asking myself how I am going to have time and energy for all the things I want to have in my life. I want to make sure that work doesn't stop me from having time with my family which will include my wife my kids and my cats. Raising a family is the most important thing I believe I will do in life, and I am looking forward to it. I just hope I have enough energy! I am ready for the challenge.
I think a lot about that too. That's why I am thinking about where I want to live and work because I think that if you are close to work and your kids it will save you so much time over the course of raising a family. I think that commuting is killing you and that it is something that I want to keep in check in our lives. It may seem like it just takes an hour to get to work. But every day it's two hours and each week it's ten. That's ten hours that could have been spent getting children ready or simply relaxing at home or sleeping a bit more. It's the norm to commute here but it sticks out as something that we could eliminate to have a much better quality of life. I also think that when you are done with school and you are only working you will feel so relieved and know this is all worth it. I feel that way now that I'm done with school. You are doing a really incredible thing right now that VERY few people do. Don't forget that. It's really impressive.
