I feel like happiness trumps contentment and is more genuine and goes deeper so I would say happiness.
Happy & content...
if we are content then I'm happy and if my wife's happy then I'm content.
Obviously being happy!! Duh!
Being content leads to being happy

This a stupid question. Happy of course
