It's been a long time since I spent time with my wifes family. I think time with family is critical to better understanding your partners background, loves, likes and wants.


Yes -- three Christmas's, 3 thanksgivings and his parents always try to schedule their plans to visit us on their birthdays/fathers & Mother's Day ... So most of those. I think we've actually spent more holidays with his parents than my own. They a big picture takers - so much of the time is spent taking pictures

Your family is dynamic and what makes you. I like seeing the sister/parental side; enjoyed dinner with your mom and observing your reverence for her. And your bro reminds me of mine in a lot of ways - silent yet extremely observant.


We spend every Christmas together and it's amazing.
