For the first time in almost a decade, I feel the desire to fight for a relationship. I have never done this before and as difficult and as uncomfortable this feels, I am still holding on and fighting for us. She has taught me the power of transparency and truth. Without trust and full openess, there can't be a complete relationship. We have bumps along the way, but keep growing and getting closer.
I know my gift is difficult to understand but I do believe it has helped us transcend things that will only deepen "us". Think about the times that I have been right and while painful in the moment, it only brought us to a more loving, more honest, more communicative and trusting relationship. I don't think that is a bad thing. Complete, 150% honesty is crucial.
