In my opinion it shows a level of honesty, trust, and humility that can only help strengthen a relationship. That being said, everyone has different levels of comfort and I certainly don't think that a desire for privacy in the bathroom implies anything negative about the relationship....
Only one person can do a number 1 while the other is in the shower. Normal uses like brushing of teeth and doing hair is fine. Number 2's are out of the question.
I don't mind, as long as it's not a poo. My boyfriend doesn't like to share any toilet activity though, haha.
