Are you a pack rat? How about your partner?

My husband likes to say he is a pack rat, but he isn't! He is incredibly selective about what he keeps. Everything he collects is interesting or fun or useful. He throws away useless or broken things. Packets save things like empty cereal boxes, threadbare socks, and expired coupons. He is excellent at not saving those things. I have do much to learn from him about tossing things quickly.
Inanimate objects hold a lot of sentimental value to me but not to the point of pack rat status. She isn't much of a pack rat at all.
I am a huge pack rat, my wife isn't. she will send things to Goodwill or post on freecycle if it isn't something needed or used anymore. I need to be more like her!
That's funny! I think if myself as the packet and you as the zen guy! I think I would like to make a date to declutter my stuff from before our marriage while having a fun cocktail and carry out. That might make it more fun.

I don't think either one of us really are. I tend to hoard certain items.
