Definitely alone. When other people are around, I have to put on headphones to block them out. People around always want to talk about randomness that may interrupt my train of thought. The few people who I work with who can just sit there and focus on their own stuff are the people I love working with.

Alone for sure!

Alone, because when other people are around I get distracted and want to talk to them.

I'm most productive when I work alone. But, I do like to have smart people around with whom I can discuss about work every now & then...it keeps my mind fresh & the ideas coming.

In close vicinity of other people, but prefer to have my own 'space' when I really need to work.

Alone, except when I get stuck on something.

alone

Definitely surrounded by other people. Distraction and noise motivates me, in an ambient noise kinda way. I also get energized by taking frequent breaks to talk with other people.

Surrounded by other people with a good set of headphones on.

Alone but with input from others. Work, consult, work, repeat.
