How do you feel about long distance relationships? How often would you have to see your partner to make one work?

I wouldn't like it mostly because I'm all about being affectionate and I love physical contact but if its the right person and I know we can stay together through it of course I'm down for anything. Whatever it takes

I feel like we're having one right here under the same roof
It does seem like that

It's hard but as long as there's a goal set I wouldn't mind :)

Well technically me and him are in one now. But we weren't always in one. And I think that's one reason we make it work. We've been together about 1 year and 8 months. We see eachother basically once a week for about 7 hours each time.. Which sucks. But we'll make it out just fine. :)
Of course we will. That's why we are still together after everything.

I'm in one right now..and I wouldn't care as long as i got to see him sometime. We skype everday..lol.

Long distance relationship take and need a lot of work. I couldn't bare to be away from her even if it was a couple of days

Long distance relationships can work, but they require more work than the average. I think I could see a partner once every couple of weeks, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't go longer than that.

they are not easy, but consistent commutation and a open mind make a difference. I tried come back home at least once a month

Never happened 2 me

Sucks but nice at the same time. About once/a month, or at least on common holidays ..

I'm going through one now and it's either going to make us stronger or tear us apart but my money says it will make us stronger

This feels like long distance even though it's an hour away (not that bad compared to other couples) but I can't stand that he lives so far away. It actually annoys me.
Awww ill move closer in time

Sucks but I could make it work with one loooong visit a month or a couple shorter ones.

I think long distance can work if two people love each other and know each other really well! They would have to be together for awhile tho before going the distance, but at some point, the distance will only work if they plan on living close in the future :)

Not for me!
