The best thing I can do is try and talk it out foreal but if I was there in person a nice lil two person dinner at home with a massage and movie :)
Stress?? I don't think he has that. ;-) ...but if he did, I would help him do what he needed to get done, then tell him to come over for a relaxing evening. Probably make some hot tea, watch some TV or a movie, give him a long massage and see where that leads. At least for me, the stresses of the world seem to somehow melt away when I lay by his side. <3
Make dinner and put a movie in or makin my fiancé laugh!
Getting him in the car and goin for a long country mile drive with the radio blaring, holding hands and with no particular destination..Making up the moment as we go.....
By having him play FIFA and packing a bowl for him

Not just for today, but for always...listening to him, so that way I can help him focus on work and on what is most important to him. I tend to just talk about myself a lot (unknowingly), so listening more to him first is key.
I can't take the stress away...but I can keep rubbing your head while we watch Family Guy :)

Make sure the gate is open and cook dinner
By cuddling her instead of always making her cuddle me... Although she is extremely warm and comforting :)
