I don't think that you can know how to love until you have truly been loved. All I know about love, I learned from my dog :)
To be loved I think, because you can love. But if you're not loved in return it can be the most hurtful feeling you can feel.
One without the other means you'll never be happy within. So Both.

I think love is a two way street. You can't truly love unless you're receiving it back
