The ability to communicate effectively, address any issues and compromise on or accept whatever the outcome is. You also need trust, passion, love, honesty and laughter.
Where you feel 100% comfortable with that person and the ability to openly talk about any topic without fear of them judging you or putting you done for you opinions, but atvthe same time being open to his point of view.
Good communication, compromising on both sides, minimal fighting, and appreciation and affection towards each other.
Letting you be your self and loving you for who and what you are as we'll as not

I know I'm trying to give my man a break by not stressing him for money. but communication and trust is the most important thing in a relationship.
Everyone is equal. The man is not better than the woman and the woman isn't better than the man. With both working together putting strengths and weaknesses on the table nothing should be impossible
Compromise
Just what my baby and I have today at 65 plus. Setting together hugged up on the deck enjoying each others company 20 and 30 years from now.
A successful relationship to me is one that lasts. Thru the rocky times, the good times, thru everything. One that offers support and encouragement for each other, honesty, friendship, love... That's what I want and have
Unconditional love, trust, communication, sexual intimacy, just to name a few. I think we have all the ingredients to have an amazing relationship. Just need to find the right recipe. ;)
There are no fixed rule to it. But to me successful relationship are happy and peaceful. What we desperately need right now: respect, frankness, no expectation and we both do whatever it takes to be together. We will rock,sadly are not....
