No way! We've had to figure it out on our own... And with a little help from our friends :)

I would say yes because he is an amazing person and alway talks really nice about his parents.

He did but I did not

Both mine and my partner's parents are divorced, but likemost people these days we both grew up surrounded by many types of relationships and families. I think being surrounded by a broad spectrum of 'ways to be' we both have a clear understanding of what we value and what we don't. Fortunately, we share the same values.

I think we both did. From what I've gathered, our parents have similar stories.

Both of our parents divorced after 20 years of marriage. They only stayed together until we were grown. Not a great way to spend a childhood knowing parents were only in it for us. But there was no happiness

I did indeed and if I didn't know his history I'd say he did as well as he's so loving and kind and wonderful!

Jake maybe more so than I. I have seen a lot of divorce and my dad dating and such.

Do cartoon and anime characters count?

Meh! But we love each other's family.

Nope! And, hah! None of the characters in the books I read while growing up had good relationship role models either!! (as far as I can remember)

no, my parents were the blueprint for a dysfunctional relationship, I had to figgure it out on my own and with help from a very patient and supportive partner

Nope but that's why we will preserver

Hard question, I would say they are 75% of the time.

Yes... Parents aren't bad ones.
