I will only answer this question in regards to my wife. It was something I dreamed about, I was nervious and embarrassingly had cold sweats. I've never felt so strongly for anyone before.

Elated. I ran into his arms, hugged him, and kissed him. I was on cloud 9
It was his first kiss so I felt it was a big responsibility. I knew he would love me forever afterwards and I was essentially saying the same to him, and it was true! We just celebrated our 24th anniversary. :)
Nervous!
Incredibly nervous and 1/2 drunk to take the edge off. Waiting for her to pick me up at the airport with absolutely no idea efts would happen in the next minute.
