Definitely something useful for my bf.
I think it depends on the occasion. 'Romantic' holidays are cooler with big surprises, while useful things are awesome on birthdays
I love both but I don't usually get either so oh well.
Big suprise(:
I prefer a big surprise, but useful things are always good to have
Both!

Hmm I think useful. What do you think boo boo?
Surprise. Doesn't need to be big, but it's a good reminder of how thoughtful you can be.
Big surprise that is useful as well.
a surprise with a thoughtful twist. one that shows you are really in tune to what your partner likes/wants/needs....:)
When I was younger it was a big surprise. Now days its useful. Hell I asked for a new pots. If that's not useful I don't know what is.
I've never been one for surprises, but if there's one thing I've learned from my beautiful girlfriend is that surprises are useful for making my day better :)
