Both are fine cause I never really had and ideal preference
Have no preferences here - really like both.
Fiction all the way, it lets you escape the bounds of reality, with endless possibilities. It also can help expand your own creative thinking giving you crazy new ideas that you can adapt into reality.
Non-fiction
Fiction. I inadvertently read my fair share of nonfiction outside of time put aside to read
Both
Realistic fiction
Memoirs of dysfunctional lives
Biographies of Jews and politicians
Religious books
Books about biological warfare and the center for disease control

I don't get to read much that I want to right now because of school and workout in general I do not like reading fiction.
Fiction! I like being drawn into a new world/story and forgetting about my own for a while.
Fiction. Fantasy is my favorite genre. I like reading about worlds with magic and technology barely distinguishable from it.
Fiction mostly. Historical fiction more recently. I read play games and watch movies to escape reality. Non-fiction is much more based in reality.
Mon-fiction though I think both are important and give one balance. I am so left brain, enjoy learning and keep seeking knowledge.
I used to like only fiction - mysteries, crime novels - for the suspense. I still like it some but also enjoy some nonfiction if it's short essays or articles. Not non-fiction books
I'm good with either. Depends on the mood I'm in and the type of story. I like auto-biographies on occasion, but I also like books similar to Harry Potter.
I read non-fiction, P reads fiction, but on TV I prefer old movies (fiction), she prefers documentaries (non-fisction).
