No problem at all
I am actually kind of a more cautious type... It would probably be hard for me to deal with, because I know man/woman are ultimately attracted to each other by design if they spend enough quality time together. I guess the key is to know our own limits and boundaries and try to avoid situations where we set ourselves up for failure... For example, what do you do when your relationship with your spouse is not in a good state as there is always ups and downs in long-term relationship?
In fact, she has nobody.
NOT GOOD!
Absolutelly NOT OK!!! it's simply dumb when your best friend is not your girlfriend
(or boyfriend)

It's cool
As long as she has my back, it's great!
I dont mind as long as she is not attractive.
As long as he is good at basketball I am fine with it.
Don't Care if they keep it checked
I believe in marriage being an enhancement to life, not chains that bind my spouse to me.
As for feelings, there are certainly ways for her to have a male friend that would make me feel excluded, rejected, or taken advantage of. There are also ways for me to feel supportive and loved. I suspect what would help me feel positive is transparency about the relationship, the relationship contributes to my marriage instead of taking away from it, and my relationship to this male friend is positive.

I'm actually slightly uncomfortable with this. I know 9/10 guys just can't be trusted and seeing how her exes all periodically circle like hungry dogs even she has started to realize their friendly chats more often then not are trying to keep an option open and she just doesn't need the pressure and so far has not been interested :-p
If the best friend becomes a best friend of the couple/us, not just of her.
my husband had a best friend like that and it was super awkward because they had a past...so im not for it. but i never told him not to be friends with her because i trust him. i just didnt like it very much. but she was my friend to so that helped a little.
