Would you rather grow old with someone you "settled" for, or be alone when you are older because you didn't find true love?

I would just keep searching for that perfect someone instead of just settling with someone I know I don't love.

I don't want lukewarm for myself

Honestly... I don't ever want to settle. I'd rather be the crazy dog lady with 10 rottweilers than be with someone I "settled" for.

alone

settling is out of the question... i believe in true love

Life is too short to spend time with someone you aren't deeply connected to.

Be alone. I couldnt stand myself if i gave a guy false security or if I gave up on true love

I'm with the man I love. But it I wasn't if rather be with someone I settled for.
Ever notice how sad the old folks are in homes etc who are alone?

I'd rather be alone than settle

If I lost my wife and had to live out my life it would be alone, wandering aimlessly, lost.

Be alone too, as scary as that thought may be. However, I've found someone I want to be with for the rest of my life, and I can only hope she wants to be with me for the rest of hers. And all I can do is try and show her how much she means to me every single day.

I would rather be alone than to be with someone I settled for. Because if I settle I know that person is just "second best". I couldn't do that. Thank the gods the man I am marrying just happens to be everything I've ever wanted and needed. Any woman would be so lucky to have him. I finally know what it means to be "the lucky one". If you hold out...love will find you. If you settle, you could miss out on the greatest love of your life.
My man and I were meant for each other and their is no question in our minds or our family's and friend's minds. If I had settled for my ex like I was resigning myself to do after 4 agonizing years....I would have missed out on my Jonny who is the one I am suppose to be with and that my heart KNOWS where it belongs.. and that would have absolutely been the greatest regret of my life. Hands down.

Looking back on my life, I would rather be happy and alone than with someone that I liked but didn't love.

I've found true love and I don't settle.

In asia,a spinster will be scorned in public,so many asian women will not just settle, but will even marry bad men(unemployed, drunkards, abusers) just for the sake of getting married. Most Asian women do not have the privilege to remain unmarried eventhough they haven't found their "true loves",so for those of you who are not Asians, consider yourselves very lucky
