share your love , learn to forgive and cherish the time you spend together cause you don't know if you are going to wake up the next day.
One word: communication. If there's a problem, it will /never/ get solved unless you talk about it calmly, honestly, and respectfully. The downfall of most of the relationships I've been in or seen has been a lack of communication. I think it's probably the most important thing.

Treat each other like its the last time you will see them, the day should be filled with loving memories, so when you wake up next to them the following day, you get to do it all over again
learn to communicate by listening with respect and appreciation.
