How to listen well. How to be patient. How to be okay with silence in a conversation. How to allow other people room to have feelings. How to allow myself to have feelings. So many things. He's so awesome. :)
He's taught me alot about cars, computers, and appreciating each other.
That he is very handy. He can do electrical and plumbing and replace the shower! He's got many hidden talents and it is awesome to find them all!
And an appreciation for music that I would not have been exposed to

All about computers
I had never eaten steaks properly cooked. I had never tried asparagus or coconut before. I think we learned together what commitment means-- sometimes pain, always submission, and definitely the most rewarding relationship I can imagine. In college she also taught me not to hide from the difficult conversations. That has probably been the best lesson of all, though I love a good rare steak.
