Thomas Jefferson

Joseph Stalin... He killed everybody...

Nelson Mandela

This will sound bad but Hitler before the drugs. Yes he committed some horrible crimes but the political side was a genius. He pulled a country out of the rubble and in a few short years turned it into a super power. I don't agree with his position on genocide and his beliefs, but he was a great leader.
Very true!

He turned Germany into a superpower by converting the economy into a war economy and enslaving the middle class. This is prior to stripping the minorities of rights, wealth, and ultimately life. Low wages mandatory employment was enforced. He removed the right to quit your job, and instated labor books that required the consent of the previous employer in order to be hired for another job. I could go on and on, but you should do your own research.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061024182500AAbTBrL Hitler may have been a so called genius, but pillaging and enslaving people is barbarism. Your interpretation of history is disturbing.
