A little of both but my moms a hugger bit my grandmother and I are more... Tolerant of each other
Both! We've always been supportive of each other and hugs and kisses are wonderful to have from your family.
Its rather difficult to explain so I'll just say somewhat.

My father showed more affection then my mom but he had different ways to show she cared. I'd say my dad is my best friend always felt I could tell him anything without judgement.
