Yes, my Dad and all on his side were always all about hugs and kisses on the cheek (Italians), laughter, warmth, writing letters and phone calls, etc, etc.
My Mom was always loving in her actions and with cards, but she is less affectionate than my Dad was...possibly because her mother and siblings were kind of cold to her. She hugged me sometimes...especially if I really needed it, but maybe I made it hard for her.

Not really, my dad was more than my miter. He would always tell me he loves me as he was walkin out the door or before hanging up the phone ad I remember him kissing me on my head before going to work. He still calls just to tell me he loves me. Don't remember my mom doing that.

But since my parents don't show me you by far have shown me how love and especially true love can really feel! Cuz I only ask for something simple and that's real love! And you show me it!! <3

No they were not and me and my love discussed this and how this affects us for the rest of our life in some form or manner! We must break the chain!
