Yes.


No, my parents gave me hugs and kisses as a child. And I can't actually remember a time when my parents hugged or kissed or showed any affection to each other at all. They got divorced after being married nearly thirty years, and I was glad. That looked like one miserable marriage growing up.

I find that my fathers side is more affectionate with me now that my father has passed away, but my mothers side I would say that they like me but that is about it.

Yes very much so. "I love you." Was said at the end of every phone call, everytime I was dropped off at school, etc. Also, many hugs. This could also be said for all of my extended family who I see a bit less, so the greetings and partings are even more poignant especially with my grandparents.
