I would say my mom and brother have both been very physically and emotionally affectionate. As a kid though I used to have to beg my dad to hug me, sad right? He's never been very physically affectionate, and rarely emotionally affectionate. It wasn't until I got older that I understood that he did love me, just never knew how to show it.


Not until all hell broke loose when I turned 18.


Yes, my parents were affectionate towards each other and to all of us. Lots of hugs, lap surfing, holding hands.
